Stuart is the founder and Managing Director of Roth Communications. A born writer (his first story was published in Grade One) he is an experienced facilitator, researcher and communications consultant.
After graduating with a B.A. (Honours) in Chinese Language and Literature (McGill, 1993), Stuart lived and travelled in China before becoming an English and History teacher.
In 2003, he began a second career in communications - specialising in copywriting, journalism and strategy consulting.
In 2008, Stuart co-founded Share a Story, a digital storytelling initiative that showed the potential of combining storytelling with new media.
Stuart completed a Masters degree in Social Anthropology (Cape Town, 2011) and shortly thereafter founded Roth Communications as a means of combining the powers of storytelling and social science.
Stuart is fluent in Mandarin and conversant in Spanish and French.
Andrew Fletcher Cole is a corporate communications specialist with over 15 years in public relations consulting in Canada and South Africa.
His areas of expertise include short-form writing and editing, presentation training, and client management. Andrew holds a B.Sc. (Anatomical Science & Cell Biology) from McGill University, a Certificate in Public Relations Management (cum laude) from Ryerson University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Development (cum laude) from Stellenbosch University.
An adept writer and presenter, Andrew is a respected MC and company spokesperson.
Andrew’s interest in storytelling and its applications for PR and Marketing make him a perfect fit for Roth Communications’ Narrative Intelligence Division.
Keriesa is a coach, counsellor and learning process facilitator. She has a Drama degree from the University of Stellenbosch and a Masters Degree in Leadership and Change Management from Leeds Metropolitan University.
She trained as a storyteller through the International School for Storytelling and as a Psycho-phonetics coach and counsellor through the Persephone Institute.
Keriesa’s interest in personal development and leadership training sees her contribute to Roth Communications Internal Communications Division.
Pam Sykes is an expert storyteller with 15 years' experience enabling businesses and NGOs to tell complex stories in simple, engaging ways.
Her multimedia skills span writing, photography and video production and editing.
As a facilitator trained at the Center for Digital Storytelling in Berkeley, she is skilled at helping individuals and organisations discover and tell their most important stories as short videos.

Deborah Weber is an Artist and Communications Specialist and passionate about art and the environment. She has a BAFA and MAFA from Michaelis School of Fine Arts on collaboration. She has worked on many integrated campaigns in the creative and environmental sectors.
Independent Contractor on projects and campaigns for client such as: WWF World Wide Fund For Nature, Roth Communications, FLOW For Love of Water, NCC Environmental Consulting, National Employment Foundation, Infecting the City and Vega Brand Communications School, C4 Consulting and Open Studios.
She recently Co-Ordinated the 2017 Earth Hour Campaign for WWF and Project Managed the interior installation of their new green four story building in Johannesburg and revamp of their KZN office interior. She is the initiator and producer of two collaborative art projects; Karoo Disclosure and Ubulungiswa Justice. The installation of Karoo Disclosure has been exhibited at Iziko South African Museum in Cape Town and Oliewenhuis Museum in Bloemfomtein. She has worked as a Brand and Marketing Manager for WWF (2011 to 2014), Advertising Manager for Design Indaba (2007 to 2011) and Communications Manager for Cape Africa Platform (2005 to 2007). Prior to this she worked at the Bell-Roberts Gallery and interned with the Trinity Sessions.
